CBS will be our go to guy I nth e fourth quarter.

I have a question for those who say Rondo does not have 'three other hall of famers' on the team.

Are you suggesting that Rondo is a hall of famer. Otherwise why would you say three OTHER hall of famers?

Rondo will most likely have the ball in his hands and be tasked with creating open looks for others or for himself down the stretch in the majority of close games.

Well, I do think that James Young certainly has the ability to be a go-to guy down the stretch of games, as he showed in the biggest moments in the NCAA tournament this year, but if he does't get any run this year (which would really p--- me off), I'd give it to Smart - either in the post or on the wing.  Why?  Simple - free throw attempts.  The guy's will to win, combined with his slashing ability could give us something we haven't had since Pierce was traded - the ability to get to the line.  A lot.  Of course, who am I kidding, the refs royally screw Celtic rookies every year, so maybe he'll be that guy in 2 years ;D

James Young just turned 19 years old. What makes you think he is ready for the big stage?

Umm, his big shots in the biggest moments for Kentucky in the tournament this past year.  Did you even see him play?

CBS means coach Brad Stevens, right?  That one still takes me a minute or two to grasp, haha.

I hope not. The ball has to move around

KO and Smart possess good one-on-one skill.

Sully could also be a good one when he's tapped for an isolation play at the post.

Like Lebron does every last second possession. Just put Rondo and 4 shooters on the court

Exactly why does the ball have to move around? Is this some type of Norman Dale thing where we need a certain number of passes before we shoot? Most teams have the ball in 1 or 2 player's hands much of the time down the stretch. They pass the ball some, but they generally don't pass the ball just because "the ball has to move around". That can lead to needless turnovers.

I don't understand why folks think Olynyk can be a go to guy in the 4th quarter.

Do people think we are going to win games by giving KO the ball and asking him to take Blake Griffin, Aldridge, Asik, Howard, Anthony Davis, Al Horford, Millsap, Taj Gibson, Joakim Noah, Bosh, etc. to school on a regular basis?

Olynyk isn't Dirk 2.0. He is a complimentary player. Hopefully he hits the open shots late in games, or makes a nice cut late in a game when Sully or Rondo draw the defense to them.

Smart and Young running the pick and roll.

That's what I would do.

It's gonna be James Young. Dude can really score. Thornton will also help.

I'm excited to see what Young can do.  That dunk vs Uconn to get Kentucky out that scoring slump was huge

Get your tickets for Maine if you are excited about what Young is going to do next year...

Why so grouchy vinnie?

Not grouchy, realistic. The guy just turned 19 and I will be shocked if he starts the season anywhere else but Maine. I think that's a lot more realistic than people thinking he might be taking big shots at the end of Celtics' games.

It's like banging your head against the wall. I think I will just relent -- KO will be taking and making huge shots in the fourth and Young is going to be scoring three-pointers by the bucket full --  :o

Rondo so long as he can be still be in tank mode. Love last year when he would go for step back threes when C's are down by 1 and just smile. Guy knows to sit and tank when needed.

Oh wait did you mean to actually win?
