Here's a new clip of Sully playing in a summer league.....I can't believe how heavy he has gotten...people can praise him all they want, but he's got to be pushing 300lbs.

Very disappointing.

FML that's hideous.
the KLove dream comparison needs to stop. Sully's new ceiling is now Dejuan Blair

It's a shame that KG really only had a half of season with him, he could have really taught him how to be a pro, would have done wonders for his career....

Sully is talented but he seems to be lazy and lack discipline....

Wow, that's disappointing.  His goal this offseason is to lose weight and it appears he may have even gained weight.  The Celtics need to hire body guards to protect him from food or he is going to eat his way out of the league.

I don't know. He looks about the same from the season. It's hard to tell when they wear baggy jerseys how much is fat to just being thick. His arms do look bigger.

I'm wondering if they are doing strength, adding muscle first, then hitting the cardio hard after. I had a friend do that. We made fun of him because he was getting a little chuncky around the waste because he was eating a ton of fats and proteins. But he was doing heavy lifting and building his arms, legs, and chest. When he came back from school at winter break, he was still big, but cut as well. He said he maintained the work outs he was doing, not adding any more weight, but added cardio 4 times a week, and out of the three lift days two were lower weight high rep, and one heavy weight low rep to keep the size of his body.

I'm hoping this is whats going on. I can't see the training staff letting him get away with this for so long.

In a way I wish he had holes in his game, because then we could call him the Round Mound of Swiss Cheese!  ;D

ugh. I hope this is just in anticipation of playing lots of C. Even more so I hope we trade him while his value is still high... he will have a rough time next year either as a short C or a fat PF.

He still looks big, but he looks like he's bulking, there's some definition on his arms now.

Maybe B Doo is getting him to lift weights hard, then gonna try cutting after?

But who knows.
I still love Sully, whether its fat Sully or not so fat Sully. hahaha

I love me some Anthony Mason baby! Pleasantly plump with a little bit of an edge. He'll have 6 fouls to give every game and can still make buckets and rebound well. Who cares how big he is? He never could jump to begin with.

People need to stop defending this kind of behavior just because he's on our team. He is out of shape, no way around it. He is a professional athlete and he isn't doing himself or his back any favors by putting on this weight.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.
