CLE would be idiots to hold out on the Wiggins issue.  I understand the allure of potential but c'mon.....

You're talking the difference between getting a championship or multiple championships in the forseeable future if they add Love to the mix or risk missing out because you got too wrapped up in a rookie's ceiling.

It'd be foolish.

Wiggins is already better than Kevin Love right now.

Defensively, yes.

if kevin love right now was on Kansas, they wouldn't have lost a game.

Cavs management has been bad lately, getting Lebron doesn't make them any smarter.

Defensively, yes.

And offensively.

And he's better at long division. The metrics go either way on his card counting, though.

Can you prove to me that CLE are not idiots?

The Love-to-Cleveland trade has to start with Wiggins. Wiggins, Thompson, Waiters, and maybe a pick. If Love goes to Cleveland without Wiggins coming back, Flip should be investigated for collusion with the Cavs and/or LeBron. The current offer is pure garbage. Bennett is trash, Waiters is a decent 2 (but hardly a star, and might be a locker room problem), and a future #1 will be a late 1st round pick. That's...trash. Our offers were many fold better. I do think Love might go to the Cavs, but the trade should take away a lot of Cleveland's young assets (as it should), starting w/ Wiggins, who is uber talented but totally unproven.

I would hold onto Wiggins, as I think he'll be a superstar in the future. Love is a great floor stretching big, but they don't address the issues that CLE will still face. There is no true defense played except from Lebron, and clearly no rim protector, Kyrie can't guard PG's, Love can't guard 4's as well. Waiters is an underrated defender who still needs time to develop.

Not gonna argue with that.

The first overall pick fell into their lap.  They're wasn't skill involved there.

If Lebron hadn't grown up in Ohio, we're not even discussing Lebron on the Cavs right now.  That's another stroke of luck.

Oh, no way.   Their track record has been horrible.  Like I just mentioned above;  their two biggest acquistions of the off-season can almost be exclusively be chalked up to luck.

No Wiggins, no Love in my opinion. I don't think they'll trade Irving

I still don't get why they don't try to keep Wiggins as their SG. Lebron at PF/SF. Wiggins/LBJ would be a tough defensive duo...
That's what I'm thinking... Jordan and Pippen style.

Well, this sucks. LeBron stays in the East on a potentially solid team, Love to Boston becomes less likely, and the Cavs 2016 first rounder will now be in the low 20s.

Cavs wont trade Wiggins. They can wait 1 year and nab love in free agency. Lebron said in his letter that he will need patience.

kyrie - Wiggins - lebron - love - varejao

that's a potential decade long dynasty.
