Listening to them, you'd think Napier and his 2-14 shooting is a superstar lottery pick and Smart was the late 1st rounderThey compared the physique of one of the players (not sure who) to Julius Peppers... ridiculous. Peppers has 50 pounds of muscle on any of these players.

I know the announcers are loving pressey, but has anyone else been a bit disappointed with him running the point? He has really struggled against the double team that MIA has been aggressive with.
First game notes on a few of the guys:Smart: Positives- Looked great defensively on the ball. He caused all sorts of problems for Miami's guards, his defensive intensity should translate immediately to the NBA game. With the ball in his hands he showed some glimpses of his offensive potential. Did a much better job than Pressey in breaking down Miami's double team strategy. Negatives- Didn't seem like he fit in very well when he played off the ball with Pressey running the point. His shot selection was also as advertised, very suspect. Shot some very quick threes that seemed forced. Occasionally he gambled off his man defensively a little too much, in summer league this might be a good strategy( after all he did have 6 steals), but against a more experienced NBA side this could backfire.Olynyk- Not going to go into too much detail on Kelly as he was definitely the best player on the court. He looks like he's in great shape, obviously he will never be the quickest guy but it's good to see someone who takes care of their body in the offseason. He still seems a bit clunky at times with the ball, but hopefully he continues to become more smooth with experience.Pressey- Well as I mentioned before, if you only listened to the announcers you would have thought he played a terrific game. However, if you watched the game you were probably greatly disappointed with his performance. He struggled massively for the first three quarters against Miami's double teams. Defensively he was a pest which is good, but I definitely was expecting him to control the game with all the experience he got last year.
Definitely checking some of the next game out...Gordon, Payton, Noel....should be fun.
