I do think it's very interesting, Rondo, Carmelo, And Dwight Howard. That's a pretty fun team to build around if your Morey and you could easily make a mini dynasty if they can stay healthy. If was Morey would I give up Harden for Rondo+ 2 picks. No. Rondo+3 Picks. Maybe, if I know I Can get Melo as well.

We could do  a Brooklyn pick, Clippers pick, and ours 2016, Is that a lot. Yes. Can we afford it. Yes.
But that would speed up are rebuild real fast. And suddenly we are a Center away from being a real threat moving forward.

Actually in this case, we wouldnt be just a center away from being a threat...  We would need a point gaurd (Smart isnt gonna be ready to lead a championship squad in year 1)  we would need somebody who can play defense, and wed then need a real center to cover up for hardens ball watching... Lol and ur giving up THREE FIRST ROUNDERS????? Including brooklyns pick?!! Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.oo!

Smart + Harden would be an awesome backcourt
Smart + Harden + Jeff Green would be an awesome perimeter trio

So Who, can you part with three picks, or is two your limit.

I probably even do three, considering that Harden would be a big draw to free agents next year.

We could probably even ride Harden into some of wins  in an awful east this year.

Smart is good because he can guard either 1's or two's so you could really hide Harden behind the easier match up.  I
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

...So we are a center away from being a slightly worse version of last years Houston Rockets.

There was already a Rondo/Harden thread. Why is this one necessary? I've noticed this a lot recently, and since it's silly season it's to be expected, but I'm a little surprised at the amount of threads that aren't putting up any new info than what's already being discussed and are allowed to do so.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

Depends on how valuable the picks are.

The ones you said in first post -- the Clippers pick isn't so valuable (late first rounder). The Celtics 2016 shouldn't be too valuable since it gives Ainge 2 years to build around Harden and Co (so somewhere in early to mid 20s). If there was protection on Brooklyn pick (certainly top five, maybe top 10 or even full lottery protection) ... I could live with those three picks.

There would still be enough assets leftover for Ainge to build a title contender. That cap space in 2015 would be key. Need a big time free agent to join. It would be doable to build a title contender if Ainge can land that max contract FA.

you do not build around Harden..

I had to stop this video after 1 minute ... too painful to watch.

If this deal is ever on the table, you make it.

Harden is a better player than Rondo and to me, these draft picks are being REALY REALY overrated.

No one here knows if the Brooklyn picks are going to be top 10 picks or not.

Come on over to the July 10-12 thread and give me your thoughts on the TPE.  8)
