@KBergCBS 2mThe deal leaves Dallas with $33m in cap room, not counting Dirk's cap hold. Depending on Dirk contract, Mavs could have max slot.

I'm not even entirely sure they keep Felton - can they use the stretch provision on him? A core of Tyson/Dirk/Ellis has got to be intriguing to Melo; not the youngest core, but a ton of experience and championship pedigree. I'd say Chicago is still the favorite to sign him, but Dallas has leapfrogged Houston for the 2nd favorite, IMO.

Dwight harden and parson is a better supporting cast for melo then what the bulls or mavs can offer.
