I think the most likely scenario of the C's getting the top pick is if Cleveland just picks Wiggins, and then Embiid, who Cleveland supposedly really wants, falls to 6. So, then the C's pick Embiid, and trade him, #17, and Bogans' non-guaranteed deal for Wiggins and Jack who they have been trying to get rid of. That gives Cleveland nearly $7 million more in cap space this summer to go after Lebron and other help, along with the #17 pick where they could get a rotation quality wing, while still getting the guy they had at the top of their draft board.
Of course a lot of things have to happen for this to work out, but I think that is the type of thing Danny would be proposing as a possible scenario.
