I don't understand all these rumors of Cleveland trading down. They were lucky to get that pick. They should take the player they like best or trade it for an elite player.
Agreed....
Cleveland should honestly go the youth route, but get the right veterans to push them into the playoffs. It gives Kyrie/Waiters the experience needed, and Embiid/Parker or Wiggins could help them immensely.
They were SO lucky to get it, barring any more discussions about possible NBA conspiracies.... winning the lottery with extremely low chances is a sign... A great big sign that you need to hurry up and draft this player. Why take a risk on Love, or any other superstar who might leave? Get Kyrie inked up, and start planning for a wing/center.
Same here, but hey, they'll just get the 1st pick again next year if things don't pan out, right?
That being said, they can't afford to blow it (again), so why not just play it safe and take Parker? A core of Irving, Waiters, and Parker could be deadly, provided that Waiters isn't traded, and even if he is, Irving and Parker would be a great duo. Is it just me, or are they making this way too difficult?
