http://tracking.si.com/2014/06/22/joel-embiid-sixers-76ers-nba-draft-third-pick/?eref=sihpMakes sense in that they have experience drafting injured big men and are NOT trying to make the playoffs this year. Oh well, guess Im back on the 'get Love' team.

Decent chance at least one has a healthy career. If both do though the 76ers will be a top team from the east for a long timeThere's also a decent chance that they'll be chronically be injured, and the also play the same position. They don't really compliment each other well at all.Agreed. They are quite redundant. I think Embiid has a higher ceiling, but just think this is a head scratcher. Makes much more sense for Boston, who has no one at that position. Speculation is that Philly is linking this interest out so that Milwaukee or Cleveland won't try to hard ball them on a trade up for Wiggins. Why would Cleveland or MIL want to trade with PHI?Well, for example, Let's say Cleveland likes Parker, and Philly likes Wiggins (which by reports going to 213 is the case). Cleveland offers to swap picks with Philly, and get an extra pick in the process, figuring that Milwaukee likes Exum, and won't take Parker. Or say Cleveland just goes ahead and takes Parker. Milwaukee could do the same thing with Philly, agreeing to switch picks in exchange for extra consideration. Go back and check the 2006 draft, this was done several times.

If the Sixers take Embiid they can officially be dubbed the dumbest team in the NBA. Its really really hard to develop a big man. How about 2, with injury histories.

These reports are bogus.. Some say they want Embiid at 3 when they have Noel who rehabbed a full year.. others say Exum when they have MCW already... big grain of salt
