MY Theory is that you 4 Assist would transform into atleast 4 possible points if they make 50% of those possesions making turner a roughly 18 point guy if he had Bradleys mentality

My only problem with Bradley is the role they currently have him playing, having him looking for his shot. I rather see him moving the ball more and being more of a cutter and playing a bit like Ray Allen's role on offense.

But his elite defense and his contributions on offense, which is much better than most defensive specialists (particularly with the level of his defensive contributions) makes him a very good player to have.

More importantly, he'd be even more valuable on a team that has the required pieces to compete.

Totally Agree.  He needs to work on is Tony P. penetration skills.  I think as a slasher he would be most efficient AS OF NOW . As far as creating his own shot, he seems to struggle. But then again he still is pretty young. And i never thought about the amount of offense he brings as a defensive specialist. GREAT POINT

The problem with Bradley is that every time he tries to do something other than shooting the ball within a couple of seconds of getting it typically results in a complete embarassment.

Avery Bradley is a great role player on a championship caliber team....I still think the C's beat the Heat if he didn't go down with the shoulder injury....

Sadly, I'd have to concur.  When has he created his own shot outside of the pick and roll?  I think he had a nice crossover step-back against Ray in Miami earlier this year, but that's about it.  Look, if he develops into an Arron Afflalo type, that would be great, but I don't think he has the size necessary to be such a defender, although, in fairness, that's not his fault.  If we got Smart, why would we keep Avery around.  Smart is already a much bigger, better, younger, and cheaper player with a lot more upside.  What could we reasonably get for Bradley in some kind  of sign and trade?  A late first rounder, perhaps?

I like Bradley.

Everyone is doubting him, but I'm down to at least give him a 4-5 million deal. Of course I would be wary of whether or not, he would accept at least a team option contract.

Either way, Bradley is still a great player. I didn't like the role he was given. I don't think Bradley has the offensive killer instinct that most players need. Can't finish, doesn't know how to pass or assist, and generally lacks the high basketball IQ to make the right play. But with Rondo, Bradley doesn't need to. Bradley can at least improve or be a more consistent shooter. His mechanics and forms speak highly of it, and how much better they looked compared to his college days.

Bradley is a great leaper, and is still a great athlete. The mid range is a inefficient shot, but if Bradley can learn to take more shots and complete them efficiently, I see that as a plus.

Basically Bradley is a solid defender at shooting guard, and can shoot the 3. Hes still very young, is a great hustle kind of guy, and has great work ethics. I don't see how people are acting as if Ainge won't offer him any more than 4 at least.

Smart is already a much bigger, better, younger, and cheaper player with a lot more upside.

Smart's shooting percentage in college was 40% as a freshman and 42% as a sophomore.  Avery shot 43% in college and his career percentage in the NBA is just under 44%.  It Smart is a worse shooter than Avery, he doesn't have as much upside as you think, even though he might be a better player.
