Two sides to looking at Love asking to be traded now:
1. Good Love: Giving his team a chance to get value back for him. Not waiting until his contract expires to make "the Decision".
2. Bad Love: He's a quitter. The opposite of Garnett, who fought tooth and nail to make that franchise relevant. That team has been on a positive trajectory over the last several years, and now, at the young age of 25, you demand to be traded to a "winner"?
I agree with what someone else said above, this is more about his wanting to just leave dodge and start over, and less about his wanting to be on a championship team immediately. Why else would he consider coming to Boston?
