Well, it's definitely not 3, unless of course we're talking about how many times 'King' James has now lost in the finals

To lose the final 3 games by at least 15 points, and twice on your own floor, now that takes skill. I'm interested to see how he's going to try to spin this one.
All this proves is just how lucky they were last year, but everyone not named Stephen A. Smith or others at ESPN already knew that. I thought that it would be a bit like the 85 finals, with the Lakers wanting to erase what had happened the year before, but god, even without a bench and a hurt Bird (some of which was his fault bc of what happened at that bar. I think. I wasn't around, but I've read up on it. Any fan who was is more than welcome, btw.), it was a great series that could have gone either way, although the Lakers were deeper and got away with mauling our guys after the Memorial Day Massacre. Who loses 3 straight games, 2 on their home floor, by 15+ points? I was expecting a 7 game series, but I'll gladly take the beat-down haha, with Patty Mills channeling his inner Eddie House.
Did anyone else think it would end this way? I certainly didn't, not with the Heat arguably playing much better than the Spurs for most of the first 2 games. I guess then that it's more like the 1990 NBA Finals, when Detroit definitely could have lost the first 2 games, and then shocked everyone by winning the next 3 in Portland, where they hadn't won since 1977 or something, but the Trailblazers weren't 2-time defending champions. Am I making any sense at all here? Bottom line, congratulations San Antonio. Duncan and Ginobili should now ride off into the sunset. There's not much that can top this, imo.
