SAM Perkins is a better player than Perk at this point.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

if i had the option of letting the trade exception expire... or move it for Perk... I totally jump on moving it for Perk.   It's a no-brainer, really...

It's a 1 year deal... so you could utilize him as an expiring contract on potential mid-season trades.  It's almost like extending out the expiration date on the trade exception.

If the frontoffice doesn't mind taking on 9 mil in dead salary, it would make sense.  It would give them some more options at the trade deadline.

Perk  would just take time from Fav and Colt. Would rather tank.

Top five, really?  Bleacher Report doesn't even have him in their top 30.

How about Noah, Drummond, M Gasol, Jordan! Howard?  There's five without even tryin to think about them.

True. He's basically a triple play. Rondo's binky, big man presence/coach & great trade fodder.

Well there's nothing preventing Boston from working out the details of a trade now and then confirming it when it needs to be confirmed.  All the "signings" you keep hearing about haven't actually happened yet.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I would take Perk back for a future first from Okc
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
