They just took a commercial break , but said they were going to talk about Love's future when they get back. I know they probably won't say much , but kind of interesting he is still in the area since the show is taped in Bristol, CT .  They we just discussing last nights finals game , so it's not a taped show from a few weeks ago .

Guess they aren't in Bristol, but LA . The crowd started chanting " Future Laker" . Love said, " would they be chanting that if we were in Bristol right now ? "

I'd rather him be a Laker.  We need somebody who plays both ends of the court....Especially if we're mortgaging the future for the player.

So you want him to play next to Kobe and possibly Carmelo? That's a contending team right there...probably a top 3 team in the West again.

Not trying to read too much into it, but he sounds like a man who has one foot out the door.

Very interesting he says he uses Flip's comments and Rubio's comments about leadership as "fuel", but then admits there is some truth to it.

Also interesting is that he mentioned the Knicks as being intriguing..not surprised. I would hate for Love to be a Knick.

Knicks have nothing to offer in a trade for Love .

Interesting that in the ESPN link above, they chose to put a Garnett and Love image, along with the captions: "Kevin Love said it hurts that he hasn't made the playoffs in six seasons."

Since not making the playoffs and being frustrated was also the same reason Garnett got traded to Boston.

Even more interesting when you consider Love's visit to Boston, constant Love-to-Boston reports and numerous KG-trade-like trade-scenarios.

I know, but unless he signs an extension with the team he's traded to he can go there as a free agent.

I thought the same thing overall. As for the comments, I thought he was a little PO'd but diplomatic.

That's crazy talk! Should say the Earth is only 5,000 years old after that lol.

If for no other reason than their fans would be even more insufferable.  "Kevin Love is the greatest defensive big man of all time!  You just aren't unskewing the numbers right!  Look at those rebounds!  When does the other team even have time to get the ball with all those rebounds? Him and JR Smith are the greatest pairing ever!!!!!!22111!!!11!"

Perhaps we should mortgage the future for Kevin Love.

A 25 year-old perennial All-Star..2nd Team All-NBA...26/13/4....legendary outlet passes......who will get better on Defense?

And who has expressed interest in WANTING to come to BOS? Despite what Ric Bucher stated?

Sure, mortgage the future...just like we did with KG.

And look where that got us :)
