REALLy wanted Randle at six ... Smart is a great little guard, but he can't shoot and is a wrok-in-progress/roll-of-the-dice in that respect. Randal is what we NEED, so unless Danny has something up his sleeve, I think this went south with Smart over Randall.

I didn't do much at all when checking on #17... any centers there who fit what we need? If not I want a SF.

I don't think so, unless you want McGary, but no one else comes to mind right now.  McGary would be interesting, in the 2nd round haha.  I'm with you, though, let's get a sf.  I don't think anyone wants another year of Jeff 'trick or treat' Green.  Young and Hood aside, who would you want at 17?  Warren, Hairston, and where will McDermott go?  Payton's off the board now.

No huge surprises to me so far, except I think Stauskas went a bit higher than expected. Thinking ahead to 17....

Well we are now half way to the worst case scenario I pointed out days before the draft. I was afraid that the Celtics would get Smart or Randle and then Hood, Young and McDermont and Staukas would all be gone before 17. We shall see if my worst case happens-grumble, grumble.

So it's your fault the worst case scenario is happening.   :)
I will be down in the dumps if the other half of my worst case scenario happens-laugh. If it does, I will never answer a forum question about worst case scenarios again-smile

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

if we keep the pick.. I think this means Ainge wont overpay for bradley, kinda gives him a bit of a leverage with his contract

Adrian Wojnarowski: Sacramento and Boston discussing a trade sending Ben McLemore to Celtics for the 6th pick, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Twitter @WojYahooNBA - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors/tag/boston_celtics#sthash.zxJgP4N5.dpuf

Is Cousins coming with McLemore?  McLemore is no way near enough value and Stauskas wouldn't make sense with McLemore.

A 6-2 shooting guard that can't shoot... :'(
smart is not a shooting guard.

He isnt 6'2"

He isnt a shooting guard

He can shoot, hes just not an exceptional shooter.

Wonder if any trade option with Orlando exists, assuming the rumor they loved Smart (although he kind of duplicates what Oladipo des).  I'm all about quality over quantity, Smart is ok but I believe Gordon will be great.  Smart + 17 for Gordon?  Not sure Orlando would even consider.

I think Smart is going to end up being the better player. He's already a really good defender which will get him minutes to develop. Randle can't defend anything and hes going to need to develop a J for some of his offense in the NBA. He's a pretty big risk

Elfrid Payton could be on the move, sources tell Yahoo Sports.
