So excited to get Marcus Smart.

Guy is going to be a regular fixture on the All-Defensive teams for 10 years and he has an offensive game too. Creates so many extra possessions for his team. Love it.

No concerns about his Bball IQ?

Smart helps his team so much in so many ways that the odd decision making mistake won't doom him. Not worried about it.

Yeah Smart's decision making will be fine. He is a big combo guard in the range of James Harden, Dywane Wade, Tyreke Evans and Eric Bledsoe. That's a nice player to develop.

This is horrible.  Smart is an undersized shooting guard who can't shoot.  Randle is going to be a BEAST.  We were a coin flip away from a future NBA icon.

This honestly couldn't have gone worse.   Really disappointing.

Trade Rondo for Randle and Nash's expiring.

I didn't do much at all when checking on #17... any centers there who fit what we need? If not I want a SF.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Smarts going to be good. I'm very satisfied with the pick

I wonder what that means for Ryan Anderson. Surely NOH must choose between the two of them. Not enough playing time for both those guys, Anthony Davis and Asik. Or maybe Asik is just a one year rental like Robin Lopez was for them.

Be interesting to see how that one plays out. Some dominoes to fall.

Charlotte Hornets. Not NO Hornets. Confused. Team name changes.

That is a pretty good fit for Vonleh. Alongside Big Al and Biyombo. His game should mesh fairly well with those guys.

Hate the pick right now, hope they do something to change my mind. Now we have Rondo and Rondo 2.0.

Wonder if they are going to get a player that we need? ::)

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
A 6-2 shooting guard that can't shoot... :'(

Who's a solid athlete, highly skilled and ultra competitive.

Shooting can be fixed, learned and practiced. You can't teach intangibles.

Hey, remember that Kawhi Leonard guy, he was also dubbed as a "bad shooter" in his draft. How'd that turned out?

Would posters move the smart posts to the smart thread please. I want to see how the draft unfolds from here on in.

Thanks.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

We got a top 8 player. Mission accomplished.

Exum is far from a sure thing.

The future is bright.
