- Don't know if Exum's slipping. He could go before ORL. ORL really liked Smart last year before he went back to school. Steve Kyler said in his chat today, that there's a lot more info available to NBA execs than we think on Exum, that he's played against good competition and that he's seen 6 of his games himself. I had been thinking he was maybe an overhyped player who might slip. Now, I'm thinking he's not that unknown to the NBA scouts, even if he does slip to us. During the coverage at the combine (ESPN IIRC) every single guy on the panel thought Exum would be the best PG 5 years down the road.
- Don't know who Ford's talking to, but unlikely UTA. Notoriously tight-lipped organization unlike others (Danny says a lot apparently, but none of it is to be trusted). Ford has also watched Vonleh in a work-out soon after the combine and was very impressed with him and that was before the latest workouts.
- Utah can go after a PF or a PG to form a trio rotation in the backcourt or front court, so they could scoop up Exum easily enough. From reading some threads in a UTA forum a while back, the fans seemed to prefer strengthening the backcourt, but like I said, no one knows what UTA thinks, even Ford.
- Would improve our offer to TWolves and I would still take Love.
