Are not valuable trade pieces.  Keep reading posters begrudgingly throw one or the other in a trade scenerio like they add value.  I don't think they do.

And that, I think, is the biggest issue with any proposal we can make.  We can't offer any players beyond role players or a shaky Jeff Green.

You may be right.  But Chicago can offer much better players and potential.

All things are relative. I'd guess if they were on a different team and that team's young players were on our team you'd see those players all the time, pick up on all their flaws and assume they aren't as valuable as the rarely-seen Sully/KO duo.

Young bigs that can pass, shoot, and rebound, one a legit 7' dude, both on rookie contracts....

Nope, not assets at all.

i'll give you the "better players". but then what? where do they go from there? how do they get that next big star? or for that matter, where do they get a trio of stars to actually legitimately contend for a championship? because that's what it takes these days.

they don't go any where after that, that's where. they'll be competitive sure. but not good enough to contend. they might have the cap room, but that only matters if they could get those "stars" through FA. which won't happen because they're Minn.

trading for these "stars" will be difficult because they won't have the assets, plus any star hearing he might get traded to Minn. will do everything in his power to try and get that team to trade them somewhere else.

Minn. only option is to build through the draft and hopefully be able to trade for some stars. "hopefully".

In my opinion Sully will turn out to be one of the best power forwards in the league and soon. He's just come off an offseason where he had back surgery, and has always played out of position in the NBA because of our roster is unbalanced.

He's quite young, give him some time to really train himself and his body, stabilize his role and position, and he'll show what he's made of.

I really like him. Not saying I wouldn't trade for Kevin Love, but I think he'll be someone who'll be plenty more than he currently is.

In part he's show he's a fighter and competitor, very good rebounding big, good passer, and very capable in his defensive rotations.

He's currently very much an underrated asset.

Sully was in Waltham this week and not a single reporter that he looked more trim and fit--not a good sign.

I dont like hearing this. He needs to do sprints on a daily basis as well as lift weights. No way his body doesnt change if he does this

You right man but only compared to the players the bulls will offer to Minny. I heard Chicago will give Boozer, Taj, Dunleavy, #16 #19 and probably Mirotic.

he's already a 13ppg, 8rpg player. not sure how that isnt valuable.

and Olynyk was one of the best rookies last year IMO not a star but looks like he will turn into a valuable role player

Sully and Kelly are both good assets. Maybe they don't get other teams drooling .. . but the potential and skill level in both guys is evident. I really don't want to lose either guy.

Jared's got solid wingspan, shooting potential, rebounding and low scoring skills. Kelly has great standing reach, passing, inside/outside scoring ability. Both has high BBIQ. Both lack elite athleticism but the craftiness makes up for much of that .. . and their athleticism isn't as terrible as many seem to think.
