Hoping the Swiss can pull off a surprise here today but not confident after seeing their defensive effort against the French in the group stage.

Arghhh! So wasteful! Swiss clean through on goal. Got to do better than that.

That Argentine keeper does not inspire confidence.

Same here, would much rather face them than the Argentinians. Hopefully we can beat Belgium first though.

Stat - Di Maria lost possession 37 times in first 90 minutes today. Awful.

Swiss looking better in extra time. Argentina running out of fumes.

Big turnaround after Argentina dominating that second half. You can tell the frustration and fatigue is really getting to Argentina. The pressure too.

Hopp Schwiiz!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

This is certainly crazy all the games that have gone into extra time, and possibly (again) penalties.

Swiss had a couple of possible breakaways there that they wasted. Looking to dribble through 3-4 players instead of making simple passes and running on off the ball.

I think Messi and Di Maria would destroy the USA defense. Therefore, Go Swiss and cheers that the US can pull it off against a tough Belgium opponent.

Sloppy play by Lichtensteiner and Swiss in general over last 10 minutes.

Started thinking about penalties and didn't finish out the match.
