Colombia looking good. Did well defensively against Ivory Coast when IC were chasing the game in the second half. Withstood a lot of pressure. Well organized. Didn't give up much. Lots of commitment. Another outstanding game from James Rodriguez as well. One of the top players of the tournament so far. Cuadrado was very threatening too. Exciting duo.

I was really impressed with Aurier for Ivory Coast as well. I can see why he is so highly regarded in France after these first two WC games.

Have to miss this game, thanks for updates!

Seriously, this thread in conjunction with google's box score is about a million times better than ESPN + Twitter.

Good luck, three lions.

You'll need it  :P
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

For the most important player in the match was Quintero. Once he got in Colombia got faster and moved the ball much better.

And the tactics against Toure was great. IC should have subed in Boli earlier.

A Greek win would be great. Regardless of the obvious reasons :D it wil lead to a genuine final in a few games IC vs GR.

...And now for the main event..... I predict England 3-1

Three Lions on a shirt,
Jules Rimet still gleaming,
Thirty years of hurt,  (well it`s 40 now)
Never stopped me dreaming.

Gary Cahill with a couple of miscues already. England do not look comfortable.

Nice cross by Cavani and great header by Luis Suarez.

England shouldn't have conceded that. Midfield let them down. Allowed the ball to get to near their box too easily.

Agreed.

No help from midfield in that play whatsoever.

Suarez is still torching England.

Great goal....  England looks cut in half.  No one connects midfield and attack. I Don t understand the use if wellbeck as a winger
