Here is a "small potatoes" option:
Draft: Vonleh at #6. Draft a wing at #17 (Anderson, Young, Hood. Maybe even Levine on potential). Trade Bass for a 2nd Rounder and draft another wing or Eurostash (too many to list). Would love to find a way to add Stauskas in addition to/in place of the above list at 17 too, but not sure how we get there given his expected draft position.
Post Draft: Qualifying offer to Bradley. Sign UFA Emeka Okafor. Sign UFA Greg Steitsma. Sign 1 or 2 scrap heap wings (PJ Tucker, Wesley Johnson, Xavier Henry, Marvin Williams)
Not exactly exciting, but if Vonleh were the pick I'm not expecting much at all in the 1st half of year 1 from him, and I think it is important that Sully, KO and Vonleh (when he earns minutes) can play PF primarily with only some alternative lineups with them at C. Additionally we'd add defense and 3 point shooting on the wing. Probably wouldn't want to go any higher than $3M per year for any of the wings (and ideally lower).
We'd win more games, and find out how far along our best young guys are. MAYBE even sneak into the playoffs.
