Well looks like the Cavs will most likely get Love. The question is will he stay in Cleveland?
I think he'd pull a Dwight and bail. Wow, imagine if they did trade the #1 pick and he walked after the season? Leave it to the Cavs to bomb the #1 pick.
But methinks his people squash any trade before it goes down. If he really does want to be part of a winning franchise, I don't see Cleveland on his list. Fans aren't the only ones questioning their competence.
If they're desperate enough to do it regardless of whether or not he opts in, he doesn't have much choice other than to play his ass off next season, even if he's not staying with Cleveland.
And Kyrie Irving is good enough, and young enough, to make Cleveland hit that PDX level very quickly next season, but in the East.
Especially if they can somehow convince Deng to stay, too. Irving + Deng + Love would have to hit some really awful luck in order to miss the playoffs.
