Also, it's coming out that Parker is like 20 pounds overweight and is not taking his conditioning seriously.

There's been no proof of this and could easily be garbage from a team hoping he falls.

I'd like to see a source

I actually heard that he was in a boating accident and he has a peg-leg now.

Now I bet you feel like jerks for calling him fat.

So...he's lost weight?

I hate the idea of Vonleh at #5 and extremely lukewarm on Gordon at #6 or #7.

God, I hope we crack the top 3.

I couldn't agree with this more.  If we don't get top 3, then maybe move down and grab some more assets.

And that team could be us...

That would be the ultimate. Danny loves Parker, has Ford snowed, and is planting rumors that will make Parker drop.

The funny thing is if you read those recent articles, Danny is going on about how you need a go-to scorer more than anything and how hard they are to get. Parker's actually the player who fits that mold best.

It's different from a week ago because Exum completely proved himself and then some at the combine.  There is little bust potential coming out of him.  Parker's biggest weakness is his defense which is terrible and Exum's biggest weakness is jump shooting, which isn't even that bad and can easily be fixed.  I could go either way on this, but I would love either one of them on the Cs.  I think I'd give a slight edge to Exum, though.

I know another SF who fell to the Cs do to conditioning concerns. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/features/1998/weekly/980706/nba0706/a.html
In retrospect, some of this stuff is priceless:

"Nuggets general manager Dan Issel had called him a terrific scorer who "might be a little soft" shortly before the draft."
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Sounds more like Dan Issel than Paul Pierce.

I played three times:
1. Celtics won the lottery, selected Andrew Wiggins...
2. Celtics won the lottery, selected Andrew Wiggins...
3. Celtics get #2 pick, selected Andrew Wiggins (Kings selected Embiid at #1).
Celtics fan for life.

Doesn't matter. The pick is going to be traded.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I think that if it's top 3, the Celtics will keep it.

I'm inclined to agree.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Ditto.  Or Trippo.

If we get number 3 do you think it depends on who falls? Or do you think we take Embidd and actually keep him?

I feel like we are a lot more likely to keep Wiggins/parker.

Keep Embiid.  Fills one more need this team currently lacks.
