I don't believe for a second that Exum is higher than Jabari Parker on the Celtics draft board.

Oh I absolutely believe that he is. He may be as high as #2. In the case that the Celtics get the overall pick, I wouldn't be surprised to see Danny trade down a few spots to grab Exum and pick up another asset. He may see that scenario as providing optimal value.

Also, it's coming out that Parker is like 20 pounds overweight and is not taking his conditioning seriously.

There's been no proof of this and could easily be garbage from a team hoping he falls.

And that team could be us...

That would be the ultimate. Danny loves Parker, has Ford snowed, and is planting rumors that will make Parker drop.

The funny thing is if you read those recent articles, Danny is going on about how you need a go-to scorer more than anything and how hard they are to get. Parker's actually the player who fits that mold best.

That doesn't mean that Danny thinks Parker is the better overall player than some notable others or that Danny wishes to fill a go-to scoring need through the draft. A guy like Exum could easily become an excellent scorer (though maybe not a go-to like Pierce or potentially Parker) and proven scorers can be traded for.
