heather cox is with andrew wiggins who wishes to retract his statement about how he should be #1

Because he's holding out for Milwaukee?

We tanked too hard. If only we had won those 33 or so games that I thought they would win when the season started....we would have the #1 pick!!!!

I had the same thought. Too much tanking killed our draft. Go figure.

In a league where star talent is paramount, this draft lottery shows yet again why the NBA has so many teams that stay bad. Yes, coaching and management matter a lot, but when a team with 3 recent top 5 picks (and 2#1's) on their current roster tries to make the playoffs and misses out by not that much can somehow still land the top pick in a stacked draft (with a 1.9% chance of doing so), the league yet again rewards dumb luck. I figured we wouldn't win the lottery (b/c we never do), but I really don't like a pretty good (on paper) team getting the top pick. The Bucks are legitimately awful. The Sixers are legitimately awful (largely due to shameless tanking). The Cavs? They are mediocre (and should have been a playoff team had they been run better). Argh. I hate the draft lottery. Always have. The worst teams should get the best picks. Period. This is absurd. Granted, its Cleveland, and they might mess it up, but still, no team with that much talent should get the #1 pick.

The NBA Cavaliers trade LeBron James to the Miami Heat for three #1 overall picks...and still the Heat win the trade.

What are the odds, statheads?

the odds were 34%

Can't believe Cleveland is going to be trotting out three top picks next year, and they'll still be terrible.

MAN 3 LOTTERY WINS IN 4 YEARS? what the heck man

Yeah......if the Celtics had THREE thousand years of lottery picks ......we d. Never get more than two in a Rowe

Something stinks ......those odds are astronomical they could do that .....they got LBJ too .....

I think the plan where .....Lottery top three can NOT repeat or be in the lottery in consecutive years needs to happen.

It's the same teams every year .....once they have their shot , they need to go,to the end of the line

I doubt the Cavs had a 34% chance to win 3 lotteries in 4 years
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Now I'm cranky. A Heat loss would make me feel better.

Wiggins went from all smiles "I want to be #1" to fake smile "well if he goes #1 I'll be happy for him." LOL
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I think Embiid, Wiggins, and Parker will all stonewall Cleveland.  Exum won't know what hit him when he lands in Cleveland.  He may opt to stay in Australia.

I think Cleveland is getting paid back by the league. they wanted LeBron in a better city. they did it for new Orleans when they got screwed out of chris paul and now they're doing it for Cleveland.

Went from not wanting Gordon, to I'd be happy if he's there at 6. Vondual is fine at 6th as well.
