In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Question, soooo I'm suppose to hope that our name isn't called for as long as possible or do we want to be called early? I know nothing about this...

The longer we wait the better

This is a huge moment for the Celtics.

My guess is that if we land a Top 3 pick, we build around the guy and think hard about trading Rondo for some additional youth.

If we end up picking 5-8, my guess is we desperately try to include it in a package for Kevin Love.

Most likely scenario:  Celtics take Gordon #6, Love forces a trade to the Lakers.  We try to trade out of our PF logjam and have another bad-to-mediocre season.
This seems right. I can really see Ainge going for Gordon as a top defender. OTOH if they get a top-3 then forget Gordon.

Why is it top 3 only this year?  I thought the lottery was 5 or 7.
