Both have serious upside. Sully has a better jumper but Randle is much more athletic. Just a quick poll! Thanks for checking this out!

ALSO COMMENT WHY YOU THINK SO!

I'd take Randle because I think we need more athleticism

Rather go with Randle.

Sully has shown he can play, but I don't think he's a starting caliber player on a good team.

Also, towards the end of the season, he appeared to gain some weight.

It seems like Randle projects to be the same type of player as Sully, only more athletic

I voted to keep both. I really don't know who will be the better power forward between the two. And perhaps the Celtics could hedge their bets by developing both players.

If Sully gets in great shape this summer, and continues to have a healthy back, he is probably the better player.

But if Sully doesn't lose the weight this summer, when will he ever? In that case i would project Randle to be the better player.

I don't know. And I won't know until I see Randle play. And I also wouldn't trade Sully just because we drafted Randle.

I seem to remember when the Hawks were playing two power forwards up front. It was Horford and Josh Smith I think. It didn't go well.

I would probably trade whoever is giving a better return.

But Milsap and Horford worked real well together this year. A lot depends on how and if players compliment each other or if their styles clash.

Atlanta's team culture is a lot better this year. Also. Smith and Horford didn't have the help that Horford and Milsap have had this year, starting with players maturing combined with the more motivating culture that Budenholzer has created as opposed to Drew.

Trade Sully he can be a good 7th or 8th man somewhere but I dont see him being the all star building block that a lot of people make him out to be.

Randle is very enticing with his athleticism and rebounding skills, but a healthy Sullinger who if he lost a little bit of weight would be very promising as well.

Sully worries me long term.

He has already had a back issue.

The coach seems concerned about his conditioning at the end of the year.

Those are two red flags.  Not saying get rid of him, but his presence would not prevent drafting a player at the same position.

no Randle.  we have enough PFs.  also don't like how bad Randle is on Defense and there's no guarantee he can push the competition around like he does in college.

if we end up picking Randle I have to believe it's because we did it for another team that we have a behind-the-scenes deal with.
