Looking at the Pacers cap next year I don't see them improving much. Someone will most likely overpay Stephenson which will hurt them.

I'm not sure why it's happening but the problems of the Pacers are really easy to see against Miami.  On offense, their perimeter players are dominating the ball but aren't good enough to get away with it.  Miami is cheating toward the first obvious pass and Indy's offense doesn't have enough options to make them pay.  On defense, their rotations are erratic.  It often looks like they independently decide to switch or not on a case by case basis.
