Vogel may be getting himself fired in this game.  The Heat defense is great but Indy's offense is pitiful. How hard is it to run a cross screen to get a mismatch in the post with West or Hibbert being guarded by a smaller guy.  And only NOW, down 15 with 2:30 left, does Vogel go small to match Miami.  Did they even once try to post up Bron when he was guarding West?

Mike

I agree, but worse than that they never took advantage of Lewis in the post. Or Allen on the perimeter when he's matched up against either Stephenson or George. Or Cole in the post when he's covering Stephenson.

This high pick and roll is playing right into the Heat's hands because they're doubling the ball handler and now Hibbert or West is forced to create while rolling to the basket. I'd rather keep Hibbert and West on the blocks and swing the ball to create open looks or take advantage of the fronting defender.

Vogel is flat out getting out coached by Spo. That turnover fest to end the 2Q was inexcusable.

Where? Pacers got more FTs again this game and has more for the series so I don't know what you're talking about. What killed the Pacers are turnovers and bad offense.

Ray Allen playing like he was back in 2008. Man...

Putting David West on him might have had something to do with that.

Bosh was also in foul trouble.  Missed large stretches of the game.

Okay who is getting sued for malpractice? How does Ibaka go from being out for the season to playing after one week at a high level?

No wonder the Spurs didn't believe that Ibaka wouldn't play Game 1 until they were actually on the court. Glad he's back, makes for a more competitive series but come on how was he ever diagnosed for 'season ending' and only miss 2 games?

Hopefully they still lose and they finally don't have anymore excuses to get rid of Brooks.

Bit of a lopsided free throw count in that 3rd quarter ::)

Alright real talk. There is no way SAS can win when a healthy Serge Ibaka is in the lineup. Regular season and previous match-ups showed it all!

OKC vs MIA finals rematch, MIA easily 3peats.

(Secretly hope the Spurs somehow win it all though)
