If you've ever been drunk and had 'the spins', that is what my episode of vertigo felt like. Mine was migraine-related. My migraines are often associated with interesting neurological phenomena. No, I couldn't have gotten to my car, never mind drive and play basketball.
But, the issue really isn't whether or not someone should/could play with vertigo. The issue is whether or not Gasol really has vertigo.
Vertigo is a great 'tank injury' since the anyone can say they have it, it can last a good while, and it really can't be disproven.
