However, I cannot imagine Philly having any interest in a trade like this. They are set up for a long term rebuilding process. Not a quick turnaround. A player like Rondo does not much value to them. Too far away from winning. They have a long term plan in place and I can't see them giving up on it for a player like Rondo. MCW + #2 pick are a lot more valuable to them.
A team like the LA Lakers who want to build a quick winner before Kobe's career runs out - now, there's a team that would consider giving up their lottery pick to add Rondo. Especially if Boston took back Nash's contract and let LAL keep enough cap space to add a third star on a max contract in the summer.
