If we get Parker at 4, I say trade up if necessary to get Harris with our second pick. That draft would give us two starters.  Awesome.  Trade Green, let Bradley go, or sign and trade him.

What would we have to trade up to get that pick?  The 17th + Sullinger?  He isn't going to be cheap

Where is Warren?

ford is an idiot. And no thanks to Stauskas. You put a good defender on him and he can't do much

Personally i rather trade the 4th pick down and grab Vonleh and get a higher 2nd 1st and get Harris. Really like Warren or Kj Mcdaniel also

I like Stauskas a lot but if Lavine is still on the board I would take him.

how is stauskas going to shoot with nba calibre defenders on him?  He could be a good role player, 3pt specialist like jj reddick. But we should try to shoot for higher even with our 2nd first

I like Lavine's potential, but by the end of the season I'll actually be kind of surprised if he comes out this year if he's projected outside the lottery.  With his high ceiling, I would think he could vault into the top 6 - 8 next season if he develops further.  He's shown flashes this year, but has also looked pretty lost in a number of games too.

I be tickle pink if we get Parker at #4!!!!!
Philly getting Wiggins and Vonleh to go along with Noel and the PG would be a great start for them

I to really like that draft for Philly, if they keep young and swing a deal for a sg like waiters of Eric gordan they could have a nice team to grow
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

I don't think Eric Gordon is a name you hear a lot when talking about winning.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Really like Tyler Ennis but don't see him being available in the middle of the first round with our second pick.

If we get a top 3 pick which would be the new face of the franschise, We should try to pull the trigger and trade Rondo to move up and grab Ennis.

You don't watch much basketball, do you?  Stauskas is not like Redick.  Seriously, he's like Redick in that he's white and hits 3-pointers in college.  He's not like Redick in that he's 3-4 inches taller, can dunk over defenders, and carves up defenses on the pick-and-roll.  He's also probably better as a sophomore than Redick was as a senior, and blows sophomore JJ Redick out of the water.

I'm SO sick of Nik Stauskas = JJ Redick comparisons.  Why not Nik Stauskas = John Jenkins?  Or at least JJ Redick = John Jenkins (because that's a decent comp).

Seriously, Nik Stauskas' game is so much closer to Ray Allen's.  He's not going to be Ray Allen, because it's not fair to a kid to say "you're going to be the greatest 3-point shooter ever."  But he has a complete offensive game, and the physical tools to back it up.  He's got the physical tools to be a fine defender too -- just doesn't seem to have the interest yet.  That's what's holding him back -- if he played defense like he played offense, he'd be in the discussion for the top 5.

I think you're maybe overstating the height difference, but I agree 100% with the rest. Stauskas is outperforming Redick on every level at a similar career point. TP.

Also, Redick is a starter on one of the best teams in the league, which is not what I'd call a "role player."

Even if Stauskas ends up like Redick, that's a very good outcome for a pick in the 15-20 range.

I probably am overstating the height.  The site I looked at said 6'3".  I figured that was an overestimate, so knocked him down to 6'2" in my mind, but then just looked up that he measured in at 6'4" without shoes at the combine, so good for him.  I do think Stauskas will still have an inch or two over him, but certainly not 3-4.

I agree with saltlover and Boris when it comes to Stauskas.  In fact, I think Parker and Stauskas would be the best possible combination for the C's draft (outside of getting #1 overall and taking Embiid).

Embiid and Warren is my first choice combo, this is second. I'd love either of those foundations.
