Good!

I'm hoping this team continues to build around Rondo.

Either Ainge set the price tag too high on his players, or the players aren't worth much. Not sure which one is true.

Or there weren't many players to be had. Look at the players traded: Granger, Turner, Daye, Brooks (again), Mullens, ....

There's no one there that I particularly want on the Cs.

No deal is better than a bad deal.
well said.
Agreed.  This just tells you that not a single team in the league was willing to pay a fair price of two 1st rounders for Rondo.

No, it means half the league offered multiple unprotectd firsts for Rondo and Danny told them it wasn't enough. The truth of the matter is you have no idea what was offered or what the asking price was.

I'm not so sure Ainge has stood pat.

There are a number of announced deals out there that appear to result in teams with more than 15 players (Sacto and Indi, for example).

Would not be surprised if Ainge jumps into one of these deals for small gains.

People get too worked up over bogus rumors and meaningless speculation.  There was never any rush to get deals done before the deadline.

For the disappointed crowd, you still have the offseason to look forward to.

I bet Clippers fans aren't too happy.

They needed to add a big man to their bench. So what do they do? Trade two bigs for second round picks. LOL.

Roster now at 12, one below league minimum. Better hope a big gets bought out.

My disappointment purely stems from the fact that this team is too good right now.  I was hoping for a top five if not top three pick, we will be lucky to get a top ten.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more Rondo DNPs down the road.

I saved 50% off my car insurance by switching to Geico.

Does that count?

Well I can certainly see that.  I want a top five pick as much as anyone else.

Just gotta put our faith in Danny.  I'm comfortable with standing pat if that seemed like the best course of action in his assessment.

Not sure what was so disappointing to you. Since doesn't make trades to lose games in the here and now. If he wants he can just sit Green, Rondo, Sully, and Bradley, to get worse. There was never any need to trade those players away simply to lose games.

Since never got offered fair value so he didn't make a trade. No surprises there, IMHO

Might not even be necessary.  We stink with or without Rondo.   He hasn't moved the needle much.

Now its going to get real boring having to wait until Summer. I am glad the C's didn't give in to any lousy trades.
