Either Ainge set the price tag too high on his players, or the players aren't worth much. Not sure which one is true.

Agreed.  This just tells you that not a single team in the league was willing to pay a fair price of two 1st rounders for Rondo.

Cue the months of speculation about Rondo being traded on draft day.

Looks like a couple small deals are still trickling out, though.  Could still see some small potatoes roster shift.

perhaps it is because trades are such fun to discuss, parse, pick apart, debate, and generally wrangle over. i think everyone was expecting SOME sort of action by ainge. but he is proving to be an incredibly patient GM for the rebuild.

maybe we should get used to this.

More like the players are worth more to the Celtics than they are to other teams.

With that said, I never thought we stood a chance of getting a 1st for Jeff Green, let alone a for Bass. Not with their value in the new CBA.
