Avery Bradley is only 23 years old. We know what kind of defensive player he is, but as Max and Mike Gorman says, he is developing a shooters mentality.  I keep thinking of who will be the next Ray Allen, and every  game I say it is AB.  AB has the potential to be better than Allen.

... hall of famer Ray Allen? Best 3 point shooter ever Ray Allen? Arguably the clutchest shooter of all time Ray Allen? I don't see it. I don't think Bradley will even make an all-star game in his career, let alone have a hall of fame career.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

You have to be kidding.....

Bradley is a lot closer to Lindsay Hunter with his defensive ability than he is to a future HOF ray Allen.

Wow.  Defensively yeah.  I think you might be forgetting how good Ray was in his prime.  He was pretty much a freak athlete who could get to the rim and dunk on people.  As he got older he became known mostly for his shooting.

To clarify, are we talking Prime Ray Allen, or Celtics Ray Allen?

I think it will be very hard for Bradley to ever measure up to the standard of 35 year old Ray Allen, let alone matching his prime.

I'd be happy with Bradley becoming Arron Afflalo.

Potentially, sure.

Probably? Seriously doubtful.

Celtics Ray Allen.  Don't forget...Even as great a Allen was when he was young, he was never on  a Winning Team

Neither was Paul Pierce. Neither was KG.

You're seriously reaching, here.

Ask yourself--could Avery Bradley be the best player and the number one option on a 50+ win team that would make it to the ECF?

Because, four years into his NBA career, that's what Ray Allen was doing... and this team was decidedly not great:

Yes that is my question too? Are you talking about our Ray Allen or UCONN, Bucks, Sonics Ray Allen?

If it is the latter, I suugest you log onto You Tube right now and enter "Ray Allen Highlights"

Monta Ellis with much better three-point shooting, less chucking, and elite defense.

And significantly fewer trips to the line, worse ball handling, and a total inability to even try to play the point.

Just sayin'.
