Oh my  :-[

Let's revisit this if AB becomes a consistent/efficient scorer that can finish around the rim.

Nope.

If you said Joe Dumars I would have felt it was a stretch but maybe.   Ray Ray = no way.

on a side note I think AB is the next one out (package with Bass) of course thats just a random guess.

Not a chance

Were you alive when Ray was in his prime ... ;D ..........just wow .......

Ray is a HOF ...certain ......and leading three point shooter of all time .........dude?

I watched Allen at college and his early years .

He was a basketball assassin on offense..   Like Curry, fun to watch .

Oh.......if only Boston could have had KG and Ray five years sooner........

Bradley. Generally plays a much tuffer defense ....than a young Ray did.,  really no comparison. Otherwise.

Bradley is pretty unique. I can really think of a player with his smaller size that matches what kind of player I think he can become.

Offensively, he can be a good spot up shooter who plays great off the ball. Maybe a ceiling year for him would be 18 ppg. Ray was such a dominant shooter with an underrated scoring skillset that his ceiling year was in the low to mid 20's...and he did that consistently for years.

Defensively though, Bradley could become good enough to have almost as much impact overall as Ray had in his prime...but almost. And I could only see this happening for 2-3 years near the end of his athletic prime.

Comparisons in general are difficult to substantiate and this one is a little crazy...sorry OP

Yeah, I think the Ray-Steph Curry comparison is much closer than Ray-Avery.

Imagine if the current three-happy craze had taken place ten years ago.

I would like to have whatever you're smoking, man.

Then again, maybe not.  From the side effect, it must be really toxic

Sorry to pile on the OP. But how about a thread titled:

Jeff Green Potentially > Julius Erving

At 23 years old Ray Allen shot 35.6% from 3. At 23 Avery is shooting 36.5%. While I understand he is nowhere near Ray Allen was at 23 in several other areas it's not crazy to say he will be a similar shooter.

Avery has great form on his jumper and he works very hard, I will not be surprised if he shoots a similar career 3% as Ray.

Avery is clearly far behind at this stage with his dribbling and drives to the basket. Although I do think he has improved in both this year. He works very hard and has a great attitude so I wont say he cant get closer to Rays level at some point albeit unlikely. He has hit some clutch shots in his career so far as well, not gamewinners but big 3's late in the 4th.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Are you new to the NBA?

Millwaukee Bucks/Seattle Supersonic Ray Allen was unreal.

Did you forget about that?

Him and Kobe had serious battles in the late 90s and early 2000s

Back then Ray Allen was dunking on people every night.

Celtics Ray Allen was more of a jump shooter.

I see Bradley as a smaller version of Tayshaun Prince, minus being lefty.

Great defensively, will give you 10-15 points a game.
