  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Not for $8 million per year.

I'd rather give that money to Lance Stephenson.

I have three for sure keepers -- Rondo, Sully and Hump.

Hump would have to take a decent pay cut to make my list.

I think that you could keep either of Green or Bradley but probably not both of them. If we get a decent center and have Sully/Rondo/(Green or Bradley)/(very good wing) we'd be in good shape.

I already said I would package Wallace and him for Eric Gordon. Gordon is the perfect fit for Rondo.

11/20 = 55%. Is that inefficient at all?

Yeah -- that's the problem. Hump is paid too much. However, In all the years I have been watching this game, I have seen few guys hustle the way he does. Agree that Bradley may be a keeper, but I am trading Green.

Bradley is out there looking to "Get His" similar to what Glen Davis was doing before he got traded.

Maybe that's true but before these last two games AB was shooting really well and was averaging a lot per shot too! Tonight he should have deferred more with his shot not falling but other nights his shot falls! I'd rather he take them seeing as Green has been shooting poorly a few games now and no one else is stepping up and shooting except for Sully and AB.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'm about ready to give up anybody but Sully and Rondo to get a serious center.

Olynyk is also a keeper.

I would trade bradley. There is a reason Danny did not give him the money he wanted to seemed like he deserved.

The guy will shoot 11-20 and score 22 points. Its ultra ineffficient

Good defender but lacks ideal height and is not very good offensively. If his 2 pt jump shot is not working he has no other way to get his game going offensively

11 of 20 is ultra inefficient ?

Lol, exactly. Avery is one of four ballers on this team. He can be had for between 6-7... other teams know his limitations. And he's a championship piece. AND, you're not landing Lance Stephenson. 0% chance. They have a potential dynasty budding over there.

I'm a bit over Bradley, but that's just me.

Between Bass' hands and Avery's finishing, it's quite the miracle I have hair left.

Depends on how much he walks.   He is improved but 8-9 dollars improved and I think his D went downhill a bit.

How do they match salary if we offer Lance 12 million a year?

Avery's hands and finishing aren't NBA caliber, he's great but he ain't NBA starting 2 guard material on a true contender.
Why pay Avery 8 or 9 million if you can pry Lance away from the Pacers for 11 or 12 million.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

Read that last line again. One more time.

Interestingly enough, I agree here.

Rondo & Sully are the only two players I have interest in keeping.  I vacillate on keeping Bradley, he's a maybe (cost).

Everyone else should be trade fodder.  If we do end up with a top 10 pick, unless it's top 3, I'd prefer Ainge trades the pick for a legit star.  We have a bunch of picks, he should be able to git 'er dun.

He's done it before, I'm just going to have to 'trust' he'll do it again.  I don't like trusting in Ainge, but what else is there?  I get so angry and frustrated when the team loses all the time, I have to not watch too much.  Bad for my health.

Lol at all the love for lance Stephenson.

The guy screams trouble; especially with a payday. He is Jordab Crawford with better size and defense and playing on the best team in the east. If Stephenson was on a rebuilding team he'd only be a cancer.

Bradley is shooting a lot because coach Stevens is having him shoot a lot, plays are being ran for him. He is coming off screens catching as shooting, and if you ask me pretty smoothly. Give him a full season with rondo I would not mind giving him 7mill a year to have the best ball defending perimeter defense in the league. Bradley clearly can shoot, the guy is only 23 this is his first year fully healthy, next year I can see him filling in beautifully.

All this hype over Stephenson and then even worst Eric Gordon?????

The Pelicans are dieng to get rid of him, he plays no defense and is an undersized scoring gaurd? I think he's shorter then or same size as Bradley with more injury prone and makes about 8million more then Bradley would ever make.

I swear the love for guys who aren't in a celtics uniform is ridiculous, Gordon isn't a game changer, not paying him 12-14 a year whatever his contract is, not doing it and I know Danny isn't either.

Bradley will test the market, and  a team will offer him 8 and the celtics will offer maybe 8 probably 7mill. If he leaves so be it. I just don't see at this point a better fit.

I would rather Wiggins start at SG though lol!

I like Avery a lot and would love to retain him for the right amount of money ($8M being the max). Although I just can't stand the box-scores that have him taking 20 shots in a game! But hey, maybe it's a good thing, because if he keeps collecting those 4-20 shooting nights, he may lower his value enough for his next contract to be a bargain... d:
