It would be interesting to see if Embiid falls to, say, third overall--behind Parker and Wiggins--because no one wants to draft the next Oden or Bowie over the uber-athletic/high-talent wings.

Boy would I love that to happen for us if we were third.

Right now, Embiid is the first pick.  I don't think there's any question.  He is too early in development and already looks too good.  He has a great base to build off of.

We will see how things shake out, but bigs can really dominate the tournament too.  I'll be surprised if he doesn't look great there.

Maybe. I don't follow college hoops too closely.

Also, that second block in the highlight video is very clearly a goaltend.

If the C's can manage to maintain their losing ways, they have a decent chance at the third pick.

And I'm guessing Parker and Embiid will already be gone.

I'd be happy all the way to the fourth pick.  Obviously there's Parker, Wiggins and Embiid but I really liked what I've seen of Exum when he's been matched up against the top American high schoolers at International events.  I think he's what either one of the Harrison twins was supposed to be: a 2-guard size with combo guard skils and quickness to break down defenses.  If the first drafted player of the rebuilding process is Randle or Smart, that wouldn't be as exciting.

But they'll be happy to draft the next Rudy Gay? :P
