Its great fun to have an actual opinion on Celticsblog. I started a thread that suggested there was a huuuge drop off after pick two, after Parker and Embiid. So we have to trade up to pick 1-2 or we participate in a deep draft of decent players past 2. I asked for trade ideas to move up to two? Guess what I got? Yeah I expected it also.

Wow, all I can say...Wow

With Jabari's recent average play Embiid is gaining ground, is he now consensus 1b?

Is he over Wiggins?

Loving this season, so many great prospects.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

He looked great tonight, but you do realize that the ISU front line is 6'6", 6'6" and 6'5"?

Yeah, I am an ISU alumni / fan and I was really looking forward to the ISU-KU game tonight.

Embid had some nice blocks and has good footwork for a young big, but ISU's front line is really small.  Embid had quite a few blocks, and disrupted the drives from ISU's perimeter players.  ISU had a terrible shooting night, especially from 3.  So that put even more pressure to try and get to the hoop, and they were really pressing too hard, especially once they got behind.

It probably wasn't a really good game to try and judge NBA potential.  Sometimes I wish these players would do the unexpected and come back for another year to learn more about the game before they enter the draft.  Another season at Kansas could really help Embid prepare to be more NBA ready when he goes.

I was really rooting for ISU too. I love the way they play and I know Niang and his mom a bit. Hoiberg is a great coach. I thought the Iowa/ISU game at the Hilton was the best game in college basketball so far this season.

If ISU had shot even just average for them tonight, they could of easily won. Georges shot terrible and Ejim seemed like he was playing way too fast. Kane and Hogue are warriors though.

If they only had one more player with some length. I think they still will be alright. Yikes, the Big 12 is a tough conference.

I don't care so much about the lack of height on ISU. It was Embiid's footwork and mobility that impressed me.

Yeah, he should totally give up millions of dollars and gamble that he stays healthy in order to make Kansas more money while he gets more NBA ready... that he would be by learning in the NBA.

Makes perfect sense.

Wiggans also almost had a 20-20 game that night.

18 rbs is a ton for a wing.

I woils certainly not object to taking Embiid if he is available when we pick.

Honestly I like Randle, Embiid, Exum, Wiggins and (to a lesser extent) Smart...not necessarily in that order.  This is because they are guys who can potentially make a huge impacts on both ends of the floor.  Even if they aren't scoring well one night, they can still contribute in other areas.

Parker is my #6 choice ironically, because I feel that he's a player who is all offense, and if his shot isn't falling he may as well not be there.
