Will Rondo screw the C's, twice over?

First, I'm worried that when Rondo comes back before the All-Star break, the team should be good enough to make the playoffs as a 6-8 seed. Goodbye lottery

Second, Rondo is a free agent after next year. Will he sign an extension or leave for a more desirable location like LA, A team that will have plenty of cash to sign him after next season concludes.

Even if the Celtics are able to draft Parker or Wiggins, will this be enough to entice Rondo to stay? hes turning 28 this Feb, He's 10 years older than those incoming rookies. Will he be willing to wait a few years for these guys to really develop and for Danny to put enough talent around them to be in contention again?

The Celtics Roster needs to be completely rebuilt, they are unable to draw big names in free agency, and I don't feel like they have the assets to pull off a trade like they did in 2008. If there was a big trade, that incoming star player would need to sign a contract extension as well....

Draft picks somewhat, player assets (other then Rondo) not so much... the pick from LAC is going to be trash, Brooklyn is starting to turn things around, and Rondo's going to make the Celts pick trash for this year. Rondo hasn't been on a team this bad in a long time... Should be interesting to see how he adjusts.

1. Is there anything substantial saying Rondo "loves the glam of NY or LA"? He strikes me as quite the opposite.

2. What Rondo has done in the past has no indication of the thoughts for the rest of his career. Unless you have info that states otherwise?

They weren't in the same situation as RR is so I doubt they said those things. DH made it known he didn't want to be in Orlando after a lot of being good but not good enough, problems with the coach, and because he always wanted to be in a bigger market (or after seeing Mia wanting to do a super friends). LeBron was tired of being good but not good enough and left because of Celtics kicking that bum every season! He definitely lied about wanting out of Clev but I doubt RR would have left under those conditions, he was in a winning situation and so close to the chip a few times, Clev with LeRoid probably wins it in a couple more years but Lebron didn't want to wait. No way Danny builds a team around RR that wins as much as Broids teams did and he leaves... I don't see it. One reason is RR is not all buddy buddy with too many people around the league and also if you listen to him, he wants to be the best player on his team. Plus this is the Celtics not Clev or Orlando... a place with a loooong history of knowing how to build teams that get it done. Celtics will pay to get it done too. If anything RR will now get people to come here and team with him but it's not going to be anyone who is gonna steal his shine (who we can now afford or will be able to soon). People say RR is 28 but he has a ring, he isn't as desperate as LeBlegh or DH, he is also young enough to wait a couple seasons to get back to the promised land. We have enough assets that we aren't that far off anyway, if Danny plays it right, I believe he will.
