.Knicks just beat the cHeat tonight for 3rd straight win. They're heating up and have passed us just like the Nets did a couple of days ago .

Figured it would happen eventually. They're more talented.
We did lose an absurd amount of games, 9 of the past 10 games, also accounts for this. Quite a few of the games were winnable, too.
I don't really mind if they missed the playoffs and won't argue NY and BKN are more talented, because they are obviously more talented and this is no surprise. Just providing some perspective.
We also arguably won more games than we should of. Other teams performed worse than expected or suffered even more injury issues than us. Considering how our GM constructed this horrid roster we were projected to be below 10 wins by now.
It may mean nothing to you except "cancelling out" all the wins.
But for those who still watch the games (me included

, and hopefully you too) it's something. Being a relatively easy stretch of games, 3, 4 or even 5 wins could probably have come out of that stretch instead of just the 1. So...hopefully more bearable basketball for the rest of the season.
Also, it's a testament to how terrible the East is. A team that's around .500 after 20-ish games loses 10 games and only then does 2 supposed contenders (or at least playoff bound teams) catch up. Absurd season.
Edit:
And the wins aren't
all bad for tankers. Crawford and Hump went from completely untradeable to actually quite valuable. Hell, LEE gained value.
I guess we're getting the best of both worlds now?
Praise Stevens.
