I won't be surprised if they pass us, of course.

But Knicks fans would get this excited with a big old 3 game losing streak.  Oh man.

But the good thing with both the NY teams is they don't have first picks this year so have no incentive to tank.  Both are coming on a bit right now.

.........  I don't think I have ever paid such close attention to the bottom of the standings for an entire season in my whole life.  It certainly adds a huge area of interest to the season that is not usually there.

Me either!! I keep checking in on NBATv from 8 to midnight. They jump into and out of games in progress. Lots to monitor in both East and West!

Knicks looked adequate and then some last night (without JR and Tyson Chandler). They must pass us and get into the playoffs. It'll happen.

After the next 3 games we shoyld be at 13-26 and right at the bottom with Orlando and Milwaukee

Amazing (at least to me) is that we'll be 39 games into the season -- 2 short of half-way.  We'll be below a 30-win pace.  That didn't seem likely a few weeks ago.
A .100 stretch of basketball over 10 games is never likely, even for very bad teams.

I watched a little of the 4th quarter of the Knicks-Heat game and at the end, it was total "live by the 3, die by the 3".  Felton and Anthony hit some big 3s to hold off the Heat.  Next game they may miss those 3s and lose.

That said, no one should be surprised that the Knicks have passed the Celtics.  We are going to end up in the 5th-7th pick range and ATL/BRK will get us a pick in the 18th-20th range.  Nothing wrong with that.

true, alot has to do with our schedule..we've pretty much been playing contending teams out west the last few games.

our next 3:

golden state, portland, houston..followed by the raptors who look decent

when all is said and done we should have a top 5 worst record IMO

Welcome back tanking fans! And Jared Sullinger needs to shut up about their absurd moral and spirits of winning games this season!

Hahaha, I feel like I'm playing the type of a villain towards Sully.

Pretty cool.  Now it's Cleveland's turn.  I don't think I have ever paid such close attention to the bottom of the standings for an entire season in my whole life.  It certainly adds a huge area of interest to the season that is not usually there.

Same for me. I've never been excited to see my team DROP in the standings (and drop like a rock, at that). Bring on the high lotto pick!

I watched the whole game, and I don't agree with your analysis. The Knicks kept it close in the first half even though they went 1-10 from deep.

Man, right at the end of Demcember I saw we were going on this west coast trip. I thought we'd win one. I didn't see this (potential) 0-10 stretch either, though. crazy.
