I think soon enough ainge will make a move and either bogans will be included in a deal due to his salary or name a guard; crawford, brooks, lee, bradley are being traded and extra minutes will be available.  I can't see wallace being traded and bogans is really a bit on small size to give steady minutes at sf but 10 a game easy enough.

He is doing his job.  Nothing wrong with what he said.  Bogans is a better player than brooks for sure.  He is a good third string sf and sg to have on roster.

I feel for him.

And Humphries, Brooks, Favarani, ect.

This roster is composed almost entirely of guys who deserve minutes and its just not going to happen obviously.

Well Hump did make the most of his limited minutes and went from the end of the bench to our 6th man. I don't think Bogans made a single shot all year. Who would've thought Hump would be the best player in green out of the PP-KG trade?

He had 2 straight double-double seasons before 2012. He's not a bad player, not a star either.

I feel for him to a point, but he's paid quite handsomely for his lack-of-a-role and he's had a long career, so, it is what it is

Then again it's not like we have Kevin Durant rotting ont he bench either.  He can't get off the bench for a reason.  He simply isn't as good as Crawford/Lee/Bradley.

This is what happens when you sign the big money salary ballast as part of a trade.

Exactly, for one.

This also is what happens when you have tons of SGs on your roster.  Enjoy your salary and get over it Keith.

I think he should be playing but unfortunately you have to make a two for one or three for one trade to clear up roster depth logjams. That is why I advocate trading 24 million dollars of flotsam and two future draft picks to the Knicks for Amare Stoudemire (who is paid 21 million dollars - BTW).
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Who didnt??

Did anyone really expect Wallace to be better, given his age and his production drop-off the last two seasons?  Did anyone expect Bougans to be better?  Brooks maybe, but still unlikely.

Hump was one season off being a 14/10 guy and on a per-36 minute basis his numbers were right there last year too.  I've also though Hump was one of the most underrated players in this league, and that he'd do some good thingsfor us.  Anytime I've watched him play against us he has hurt us with his rebounding scrappy lay and his toughness.

I've always felt bad for the guy.  He's one of the only professional athletes I know who makesover 10 million a year as a result of his talents at trade (he earned that paycheck with his double double season)  and yet still gets discriminated against by teams and fans as a result of decisions he has made in his own personal life.

Sully reportedly assaulted his GF and everybody just ignores it and moves on.  Hump married and divorces a Kardashian and he gets booed at every arena he plays in for two seasons straight.  It's rediculous.

Bogans is one of the WORST players in the entire NBA. He's lucky to be employed in the NBA with his limited skill set.

No doubt that Bogans was responding to a question...   but it sure seems like we're hearing more and more of these things starting to percolate up.  Bogans would like to play.  Lee's frustration with not getting more minutes.  Bass and Green's little altercation.  All the Gerald Wallace stuff earlier in the year.  MarShon Brooks getting sent to the D-League (almost unheard of for a third-year player).

All fairly little things by themselves - and stuff that can all be understood - but it's a test of a young coach to keep the team together.  It's certainly a challenging year, and probably even moreso because there really isn't that great a talent gap between the team's best players and those who are at the end of the rotation.

But, it's a challenge for a young, unproven coach.

The bottom line is that nobody wants to trade for an SG making $5 mil / 3 years averaging -3 PER.  He isn't better than Bradley, Lee or Crawford and pretty soon Rondo will eat even more into the guard minutes.  He should learn how to coach or something because otherwise at the end of this contract he'll be out of the league.

Technically it's a 1-year contract, since the last two years are fully unguaranteed.  He'll likely be traded this offseason to a team trying to shed a contract, or to allow us to take on extra salary in a sign-and-trade.  Then he'll be cut.  (And he certainly knows this).

That's just not true at all.  He's a pretty serviceable role player.  He could easily be a 9th-10th man (2nd wing off bench) on a contending team.

exactly, which is why he wants to play some so this isn't his last year on a NBA roster.

He isn't a bad player; pretty close to Lee in ability/role, but older?.  Played well in Chicago if I remember well, and not long ago.

His contract and cap relief may pair better with Bass and a 1st for Asik.

Very true.  Nets celtics  had bogans in the deal at contract level to make salary exchange work.  He'd be welcomed to many contenders with his tough defense, three pt shot and swing man posistions
