Bynum target eying Boston as on of the places he wouldn't mind going according to Simmons Twitter...

Yup - he is saying that he wants to go to the Clippers or Miami.  Miami is the perfect fit for him...
why is Miami a good fit for him?

Their style and makeup don't suit him at all. Just a bench big for dealing with Hibbert and other big fives.

The Clippers might be a good fit. They need some bench help. Andrew Bynum could provide some better depth behind DeAndre Jordan than they currently got.

Why? Because if he has any ideas of continuing his career you would have to think that Lebron, Wade and Riley could get through to him.  Also, Miami needs a body to throw at Hibbert because Indiana is really their only threat at getting another title...

Imo what is going on is, he is not getting enough mins to earn his money in addition to the known locker room drama

If he is going to be paid 6 million a year, he wants to play to win a ring.  Only way i see him want to play as a celtic is bc we have a good locker room culture and he can get a chance to play some more min

But again likely his first choice is to go to a team that has a chance to win, like the clippers

My guess is that he's going to get cut. Will he be traded before then, to allow a new team to waive his non-guaranteed contract?
maybe depends on what teams offer for the salary dump.

Cleveland will be demanding a first round pick

Lol! No way they ask for a first round pick for a guy with degenerative knees and an attitude problem who likely will be out of the league soon
the price to dump 6+ million in salary is typically around a low first round pick.

except his contract is not guaranteed

He makes $12mill. Only $6mill is guaranteed.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

That's why they can demand a ransom for it . A team can send them up to 15million in salary this year and in the future and all they'll have to pay is $6 million.

6 million for half a season is not at all worth a 1st round pick

I think you're missing the fundamental point.

I would do Green and Lee for Bynum and then waive Bynum.

Wow really? I'm admittedly not really high on Green but a straight up salary dump..seems like too little.

I dedicated a thread to this idea and made small argument around getting worse and having more money this summer. I think Green would flourish in Cleveland too.

They don't even pay the 6 million, they'd just waive him and be done. The Cavs have already paid most of that money.
