Makes sense for the Lakers - get out of the tax, embrace the lottery, maybe get a small throw-in asset for Pau before he leaves in free agency.
Cleveland with Pau would be interesting. Definitely an upgrade on what Bynum was giving them, but would he be in their long-term plans or would it just be a very expensive half-year rental to give the younger Cavs a better chance at getting a taste of the playoffs? I'm inclined to believe the latter.
