Tommy Heinsohn at Celt practice working with Olynyk on post moves... and Brad Stevens on how to yell at refs. #lastpartnottrue

I love to read stuff like that.

this is the first time I heard Tommy Heinson getting back out in the court in a long long long time.

When a legend teaches you something, you take it and learn...

Not sure if I'm the only one, but I think Dwight Howard is definitely benefiting from learning from McHale in Houston. And I definitely see improvements

I love it!!!! It's about time the payers and coach start listening to Tommy, he knows what he's talking about! I can't wait until Olynyk abuses people in the paint and Stevens starts racking up the techs.

actually, I don't want to see Stevens racking up the techs...

I actually like his calm demeanor and his poker face :-p

Kelly has the moves. He just has to relax and not worry about missing. Have needs to incorp more headfakes, up and unders, drive spin and jump shot and lastly a running hook

All of these things he showed at the SL. I hope tommy helps him out

Both are good news.

Tommy was a great player and coach, so he knows the fudamentals, plus can yell at refs at a HOF level.

So, does Tommy get a Tommy point for this?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

You can almost see Olynyk thinking every time he takes a shot.  He's not comfortable out there yet.  He doesn't have the confidence.  Hopefully it comes.

Yup....he hesitates to long ..thinking way to much......passing up open shots way too much.

He has a good shot , nice touch and moves well for a 7 ft man.......he is just taking time to put it all together.

Took Bradley several years to gain his shooting confidence .......oh I remember how awful he looked that first season he played .and the comments

Not everybody is going to,play like Pierce straight out of college ranks.......folks might as well stop dreaming...only  Parker looks like he'll score 20 a night from game one of his career in this draft.

I agree. Seems like everyone thinks there are 10 Lebrons in the next draft, and a lot of fans across the league are going to be disappointed when their rookies have their normal rookie struggles.

That's the point. You have to be able to "yell" at the refs in a way in which your point gets through, but you're not getting T-ed up. For an instruction manual, see Rivers, Doc.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Good on Brad.

Doc would have been better off if he'd been willing to soak up as much Tommy knowledge as Brad has reportedly been eager to absorb.

Tommy is the best... listen to him, young Celtics, he knows what he's talking about.
