Fair enough. He is too good a player to be happy with only 17mpg.
He's a decent reserve.  Overpaid in my view, but still a decent backup 2.  I think 17 minutes a game is about right for him.  Bradley's better than him, and Bradley playing 31 mpg seems about right, too.

I think it's totally right for our situation but there are definitely other teams, better ones I'm sure, where he could have more minutes.  We just are a roster of SGs and PFs.
Oh, I agree.  And it's just gonna get worse in terms of not enough playing time when Rondo gets back.  It's nice to have a scrappy, overachieving team, but a couple of malcontents could make things go south in a hurry.  Remains to be seen how Crawford will handle his reduced minutes, in spite of what he's saying now.  This is the first public questioning of the coach that I've heard from anyone on this team.  I hope they nip this in the bud.

I guess if you really want to tank, this would help a lot. Ben Gordon is horrible. Green is a major contributor.

On the bright side, Gordon's horrific contract expires. Man, the Pistons are truly idiots. Amazing the money they gave to Gordon and Charlie V when no other GM thought they were worth anything close to what they got.

He wouldn't dare say **** to Doc when Doc was totally misusing him last season and the season before but he has the audacity to go to the media and call out a young great coach like Brad Stevens.  Wow, I wasn't expecting that.  Bye then.  Trade him.
That's a very good point, and interesting in that the system that Stevens runs seems to have really helped Lee's game as opposed to how he sucked in Doc's system.  If he wants to get traded, he should keep his mouth shut and play well, and drive up his own value.

I'm shocked that CLee was so open..he didn't peep a word really when his time was getting cut in the playoffs and if he did it wasn't to this extent. He pretty much questioned how genuine Brad is with the players and openly...to reporters. All it takes is a few for young locker room to dissolve.

This is really where a couple of strong veterans could police their own locker room. I don't know who on this team would do that though.

I like CLee, always been a fan, even last year with his disappointing start.

I also commend him for working so hard on the mechanics of his jumper with Ron Adams who discovered a hitch in his form from last year that hadn't been there in previous years. He fixed that by working hard and I think he brings a lot to the table (remember " the pit bulls" last year?) and should be playing more.

However, this potentially divisive outburst is disappointing. He's beginning to sound an awful lot like another 2 guard we had who also lost playing time to Bradley and who was also the subject of persistent trade rumors. COUGH! (Judas) COUGH!

C'mon CLee, don't be that guy.

Brad Stevens is a new coach and Lee has the rights to bash on him.

If I lacked some playing time, I'd bash at the coach, too.

Before I cuss and get banned, *breathes*.

Chris Hump has been one of our best and at times he has had DNP upon DNP and Lee chooses to run his mouth? Kill that noise! Have you heard a peep from Vitor who has STARTED and gotten a couple minutes and sat second half! Did you hear KO who sat too? Get over it! Ugh, I instantly don't care what he does from here, ADIOS! Brooks gets no minutes and he still doesn't talk even though I'm sure he wants too!

GROW UP! I hope he really gets to feel what other guys get a taste of! I have seen Hump kick butt out there then be pulled! I don't have time for this dude... I now wish we did the trade but I like Bass! Trade him to a team where he never plays!!!

Pressey played well but did you hear him complain that CBS put Craw (who was having a bad game) back in?

Acting like he has 20 DNP, kill yo'self (no I don't mean literally it's just a saying)!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Here is what you do with a player like Lee.

Doghouse him, make him ride the pine, then ship him out.

He's gotta bring something to the table, then.

Craw changed his game and became more of a facilitator.

A couple seasons ago AB started cutting backdoor.

Bass is rebounding more, much to Stevens's liking it seems.*

G-Wall is accepting a defensive specialist role.*

Lee's passable defense and very sporadic scoring is not something the team needs. I think he'd get minutes if he sacrificed his scoring some and toughened up on D, making the team consistent with the tough D...there's probably other ways too.

With a living example in J-Craw (and Bass and even G-Wallace) of adapting and buying in, Lee can't be complaining.

Edits: because I'm sad Lee isn't happy. Toughen up and improve dang it!

I'm surprised to hear Lee expressing dissatisfaction. I didn't think he was the type. Especially considering, as someone else here pointed out, that he's performing much better this season.

I bolded it because it's interesting. He added drama by saying it..it's not like you can't see the entire quote for  yourself so I don't know what to tell you. He's never been one to go to the media even when he was getting buried by Doc last yr, he has a right to make his comments, but I'm sure he understands that they will be under a microscope especially considering the trade rumors.

Hump has gone through the same thing and has been very professional in how he answered the media. We have a roster full of guards and forwards..someone will be unhappy

If I lacked some playing time, I'd bash at the coach, too.

Because he's a new coach isn't a reason to bash on him. I get what you're saying, but being new has nothing to do with it. What he needs to realize is that Brad is part of future of the C's and he is not so his bashing isn't going to get him far. Personally, I just think that he's frustrated and the trade stuff did get to him plus the losses, but if he becomes a malcontent he'll either sit on the bench or be shipped out (if a team will take him)
