The more I realize this is OUR guy. I understand there is probably no way we draft him, but him next to Sullinger is something that we badly need. Even if the kid doesn't turn into a great offensive threat (which i don't see) he has the skills to be a premier defensive anchor in a few years. Offensively if he ever got it together he would GREATLY benefit playing with Rondo and Sully.

Pipe dream...I know.

Bring on the crappy Eastern Conference Playoffs... :(

Embiid is a very exciting prospect. I get excited about him in ways i got excited about cousins, oden and Duncan. Big guys with legit big bodies and skills.

He reminds me of a less athletic Drummond with better shooting mechanics and face up skills, but with less defensive prowess (but still has potential to be a dominant defender)

He's a reason why i just want us to suck for a year, i've really fallen in love with his game and potential. You cannot teach his skills or athleticism and he has so much upside.

He's a top five pick! How do you propose we get that pick or trade for him? Unless we tank we will probably be out of the Lottery. We will most likely chose a Off Guard or combine our two picks to get into the High Lottery and chose one of the other Bigs coming out?

He looks very impressive.  Even Drummond wasn't over impressive in college.  There are so many picks that would normally go 1st or 2nd in a normal draft.  That's why I also want to lose as many games as possible this year.  If only we hired Kidd this year and got Stevens next year.

With our current standings, Embiid is more of a pipe dream if we continue to win.

We must have alternative if Embiid is out of reach. Cauley-Stein could be a good defensive anchor too from what I hear.

Yeah Embiid isnt gonna happen unless green, sullinger and Crawford take turns with sprained ankles.

Let's say we end up with say the 15th and 19th picks this year.  If we couple those with Avery Bradley, we should be able to get up to #3 and grab Embiid.  What do you think?

I love Embiid, but if we can get up to #3 slot, I would much rather take my chances on either Parker or Randle.

If Wiggins and Parker went 1 & 2, I would undoubtedly take Embiid at 3. I'd rather add the 7' center than another 6'9" power forward. Embiid brings a skill set that is not replicated on the current Celtics roster.

I doubt you will see any team trade a top 5 pick that far down in the draft. This draft is that good in the top 5-7.
