Seriously?  Two picks in the top 18 and a second team All-NBA defender?  Really????

Yeah.. that package probably wouldn't even get us a top 7 pick, let alone a top 3.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Right now or at this point in th season, fo the  Celtics. ..I would take Embiid  over Wiggins.....

I might be wrong.......but I doubt it.

Parker is a force! ;)

I vehemently disagree.  I also am not sure that we would need to trade up to #3 as I could see Embiid going from 5 to 7 anyway.

Let me explain why I think Embiid might go later.

First, the Knicks pick that Denver gets will NOT be a top 3 pick, period.  The Knicks will finish close to .500 for the year.

I would be very surprised if Orlando took him as they have a tremendous young fringe All-star center already.

Sacramento might take him, but they will not pick that high now that they picked up Gay.

Philly already has Hawes and will get Nerlens Noel back.

Therefore, we should NOT have to trade up to #3.

I'd agree that he may not go top 3 (this draft is just that good), but I see no way he escapes the top 7.  This draft, in my humble opinion, has 7 blue chip prospects.  We need to do what we can to get one of these picks.

right now we're picking 16 and 20 :(....we're about to lose out on some talent.

Meanwhile the sixers look like they're going to have two lottery picks to go along with MCW....wow. Philly has a nice future ahead if everything pans out.

Depends on who comes out but you're right.

Possible Franchise Guys: Parker, Wiggins, Embiid, Exum
All-Stars: Randle, Levine, Smart

I think that Philly would be a team that we might be able to trade up with IF Embiid is still there with their first pick.  I think that our two picks and Bradley would make them bite in a heart beat!!

Why would Philly want to trade out of the top 5, passing up guys like Exum, Smart, LaVine, and Gordon, for two picks at the end of the 1st round and Bradley? I just don't see it. The talent drop off between pick number 5 and 16 is too much.

Philly is not trading for bradley. Bradley isn't a franchise guy or even a multiple all-star and they'd be able to get at LEAST a multiple all-star. Lets say they get Randle and then someone like Rodney Hood...please. They'll have good enough talent and be bad enough for another decent pick AND get Noel next year.

Philly after next year is going to be in good shape if it all works.

You're right.  Not nearly enough.

This.  In the NBA you never trade quality for quantity. This is the difference between basketball and the other pro sports.  This would be a good trade in the NFL.  In the NBA, Philly laughs for a few seconds and then hangs up.

maybe bite their lip trying not to laugh in Danny's face for that offer  ::)

Noel is not nearly as regarded as Embiid.  If they took Embiid, they'd either move Noel to PF or ship him out for a player they need to better balance the roster.

The Sixers need an infusion of top talent.  If they have a top 6-7 pick where they can land a player that's expected to be a career all-star, they're keeping that pick, not shipping it out for AB and 2 middling picks that might at best be borderline starters/rotation bench with this draft.
