What the heck does BS think he's doing?? We're supposed to be losing game after game to get that big lottery payday, and now we've already got six wins after only 20% of the season, and Rondo hasn't even stepped on the court yet!! We even beat the Heat ON THE ROAD! All this with a bunch of ragtag mismatched parts.
If this keeps up, I think Danny will have to take action, as he sees his grand scheme starting to go astray! Seems like when things are going ok, that's when Danny pulls off a deal and everyone goes "oh, no"--that's a horrible move!
Just a feeling like the Celtic world as it was supposed to be this year is a little off axis, and DA may have to make it right!
BS really seems to be a heck of a coach--but stop winning darn it---we don't want to be a .500ish team--NOT THIS YEAR!!!!

I kind of feel the same way.  On the court we are sharing the ball, playing hard and aside from Wallace's earlier comments there doesn't seem to be any chemistry issues as far as personalities go.  We should have signed Jason Kidd to a one year coaching deal and hired Stevens next year :)

Look at the bright side.  This should help the trade value of some of these players.  ;)

Stevens personality is not the type to ruffle feathers ......he acts like a grown up human and expects everyone else to be professional and handle their job as players the same way.

Stevens reminds me of a young Roy Williams.... UNC coach
He earns his players respect by remaining calm under fire.......... I see so many coaches doing face palms, shaking heads, other signs of frustration that rub off on their team.   This is why Pop likes Stevens......he just stands in and faces the job head on

As opposed to the ranting, whining ,  pyscho antics of a coach like Bobby Knight .   ,  who scares people with a physical presence, and his horses rear end personality .

When you keep a calm demeanor , this tends to make people like Wallace stick out ......in  bad way among his peers

Brad know s that say n nothing sometimes .....says the most.

If DA didn't grab him,  a major college program power would have eventually have lured him in.

He is also use to teaching a lot,   Without lots of teaching and leading his teams were somewhat handicapped with talent,    He seems masterful at making the most out of a poor situation and keeping a positive outlook.

Based on what we've seen so far, this team will get crushed consistently by above average teams, and have a chance to win against below average teams.  That's not so surprising, given what's on the roster.  Stevens has done a good job.

Rondo will return eventually, but I expect Danny to sell off at least a couple of these veterans (Bass being the most likely, followed by Crawford), which will offset whatever Rondo, still working his way back to 100%, adds to the mix.

To start this season I thought this was a 20 win team.  Stevens has been even better than I expected, and a few guys have definitely outperformed expectations -- Sullinger, Bass, Crawford, and Faverani especially.  As a result, this is looking more like a 25-30 win team.

So you're right; if the plan really is to get a top 5 pick, Danny will probably have to make some drastic moves to really sink this ship.  In another year, this roster might have been bad enough to be bottom 5, but there are a LOT of bad teams this year, and a few teams that are simply abominable.

Still, even if the Celtics just end up with a pick towards the latter half of the top 10, that's not so bad.  It means that the talent on hand is a bit better than expected.  There may still be a guy Danny can find at that point in the draft who may become a star, though probably not a superstar.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I think he is doing fine, our roster is terrible right now.  They play hard most night even though they don't always have a chance to win.

lol.  My man.  I've been screaming thesame thing around here only to be bashed by shortsighted "true celtics fans," who would never root for their team to lose.

Seriously, can someone explain to me what good not being the best and not being the worst is going to do for us?

This should be a race to the bottom.

Love Brad, tho.

this is funny....I am confident that Danny will gut the roster at some point and even Brad Stevens won't be able to win games....Seriously though, happy this guy is leading the next phase of the C's...

I just don't understand why people think we HAVE to lose every game. They're going to lose plenty games before they even step on the court just based off talent alone. Winning a couple of games here and there won't hurt.

1. We still have to build a team and build team principles
2. Long losing streaks can wreak havoc on a young locker room, especially for a 1st time NBA coach
3. I don't know about anyone else, but I want to see a team that'll at least fight to win, instead of trying hard not to lose.

For the pro tankers, you will have PLENTY of games to rejoice over, but being the absolute worse doesn't guarantee the #1 pick...which I think we all know to well.

He got a young coach who can crank out some wins with this team, and it is a bad thing?

I look forward to what he can do when he has talent to work with.

I don't understand the fascination with Stevens. I think he's been average at best so far (though somewhat improving in recent games).
